Embroidery Club offered on the second Monday of the month. Cynthia and the staff have some gorgeous projects planned to demonstrate, including quilting in the hoop and the newest embroidery designs. $5 per month. Advance reservations required. Lecture/demos will be compatible with all embroidery machines.

Pati Palmer's seminar, presented by Jill, just might change your sewing life! Get the countdown from number 20 to number 1. Slides cover fit, interfacing, cutting and marking, sleeves, zippers, facings, sewing faster and preventing mistakes.

Beginning Sewing
You will learn fabric layout and cutting, how to follow a pattern and basic, sewing construction skills. The staff will help you select your pattern size, notions and fabrics before class. Bring all supplies to class along with your machine.

Block of the Month with Dorothy
Dorothy will be teaching a beautiful embroidered quilt, one block at a time, for this block of the month project

Crazy Patch Purse
Marty took this class from Barbara Randle at the American Quilt Society's Quilt Show in Nashville . She had such fun making this purse and would like to share Barbara's methods and techniques. You will leave with a finished purse!! Book required, plus Kit fee. All sewing levels.

Embroidered Napkins
Did you happen to see the beautiful embroidered napkins in the September 2007 Special Issue of Martha Stewart LIVING magazine (page 213)? Come and “sit and sew” with Cynthia and your napkins will be just as spectacular as Martha's.

Free Motion Quilting with Dorothy.
Do you love the look of free motion quilting but are afraid to try it? Or, have you tried it but haven't been satisfied with your efforts? Come and let Dorothy direct your free motion fun. Four different free motion techniques will be covered and with practice, you will achieve beautiful results.

Marty is a licensed Martha Pullen Heirloom Quilting Instructor and will teach you Martha's techniques in this fabulous bath mat class.

Martha Pullen Trapunto Heart Needle Case
Keeping all those special needles organized will so much easier with this sweet little dupioni book. The beautiful needle case has enough felt pages to accommodate many types of hand and machine sewing needles.

Open Sewing with Cynthia
Finally…dedicated time to work on the project of your choice with an experienced teacher (intermediate to advanced sewers). Bring your project and your machine.

Palmer/Pletsch Pant Fitting
Pants don't seem very hard to make – but if they don't fit properly, your time and the fabric are wasted! Jill is Palmer/Pletsch trained. and will help you make pants that fit perfectly. Class size is limited due to the personalized fitting.

Quilted Table Runner suitable for beginners
Piece a table runner and learn basic quilt piecing techniques. Come and learn the “right” way with Dorothy.

Scrappy Rag Bowls
Learn to make these scrappy, wrapped bowls using your machine. After the class you'll be able to make different sizes and shapes - placemats and rugs are also possible!

Smocking Classes with Anne.
Learn beautiful hand embroidery stitches as well as heirloom construction techniques on the project of your choice, while mastering smocking. Classes are ongoing. Please call ahead to reserve your spot and order a beginner's kit if you are just starting out on this wonderful craft.

Super Beginning Serging
Afraid of your serger????? This is a Palmer/Pletsch serger notebook class. After the class, your serger might become your newest, best sewing friend. Kit and serger required.
